  64. *What is Shareware?

  69.   SHAREWARE is a software, for which the author when using it regulary,
  70.   receives a fee in return from the user. The concept for shareware was
  71.   born in the US and due to this new distribution system becoming very
  72.   quickly, wide spread and successful also in europ. This is a great
  73.   advantage for the author due to the many uses obtainable through his
  74.   program. The minimal costs involved for advertising and distribution
  75.   allow the programs to be registered with the author for a very small
  76.   licence fee.
  77.   For each shareware version, you shouldn`t pay more than 6 $ per disc.
  78.   In case you do pay more, you should look for a new shareware dealer,
  79.   other wise they, will possibly become rich at your expenses.

  81.   The satisfied user is registered with the author, that enables him to
  82.   pay the lowest possible purchase price. At the same time he will ob-
  83.   tain a license for the product entitling him to obtain information
  84.   about improved versions, and possibly advice per telephone.
  85.   Shareware deals mostly with software, although it is not comparable
  86.   with commercial software, partly because the program performs
  87.   substaintially better, but, for a more reasonable price.

  89.   The shareware-concept functions only when you, as the user, are fair,
  90.   This will motivate him to maintain the program and pay him regulary
  91.   for his hard work. This will motivate him to maintain the programm

  99.   Public Domain are programes that are free to copy. It is the authors
  100.   intensions that these programmes receive a wide distribution.

  102.   Therefore its desireable that only a small fee is charged for copying
  103.   the program.
  104.   PD programs will be copied in case there are no distributors found for
  105.   them.  In  some  cases  the  authors are non-commercial or scientific
  106.   institutions who won't charge any fees.  In  most  cases  the  author
  107.   indicates in the program or in the documentation that he would like to
  108.   have a little finacial support to improve his developments.

  115.   Freeware are all programs, that on particular conditions, are free
  116.   to be distributed for license-free exploation use.

  120.   Preliminary Remark

  123.   Please notice that all the programes contained on the CD-ROM, are not
  124.   able to run directly on the CD-ROM drive. All programes are avaiable
  125.   in a compressed form and are decompressed during the copy process.
  126.   Furthermore, most of the programes need information about their hardware
  127.   and sofware environment, therefore they should be installed first. This
  128.   is not possible on a CD-ROM drive. We have developed a comfortable
  129.   menu system to simplify installation and copying. This menu system
  130.   will help you to copy the programes on your hard disc or floppy disc.

  136.   The main menu offers the option to choose one of the directories with
  137.   the blue choose bar. The dialog windows below show the contents and
  138.   description of each selected directory.

  167.   [RETURN] key or per mouse double click, and you'll come to another

  199.   The next step is to choose a program you see and want to copy onto your
  200.   hard disc. This can be activated again with the [RETURN] key or the
  201.   mouse double click.

  203.   Now you have two windows avaiable:

  207.   In the LEFT window the contents of your hard disc temp-directory

  417.   After the confirmation of the input, a new directory will be recorded,
  418.   and you will find yourself in the new created directory.

  421.   directory, an instruction window will appear, and the process will be
