  1. Kai's Power GOO(TM) Demo CD ReadMe

  3. Optimum Viewing:
  4. Set monitor at 640x480 with thousands of colors or better.
  5.  
  6. Platform Support:
  7. Windows 95, Windows NT, Power Macintosh
  8.  
  9. System Requirements:
  10. PC: Pentium (recommended) or 486DX or better processor, 16- or 24-bit video, 8 MB 
  11. RAM,  CD-ROM drive. External Speakers are recommended. A 2 channel sound card is 
  12. also recommended (if a one channel card is installed the music will not play).

  14. Macintosh: Power Macintosh System 7.5 or later. 16- or 24-bit video, 8 MB RAM,  CD-
  15. ROM drive. External Speakers are recommended. QuickTime 2.0 or later is required; if you 
  16. do not have it loaded a message will appear and allow you to load it off the GOO Demo 
  17. CD.

  19. Installation:

  21. Windows Installation:
  22. (1) Insert the Kai's Power Goo Demo CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  23. (2) On the Windows 95 Task Bar, select START >> RUN 
  24.       (On the Windows NT Program Manager, select FILE >> RUN)
  25. (3) On the command line type:  D:\GOO_DEMO
  26. (4) Press OK. The Demo will automatically load and play off your CD Drive.

  28. There are other MetaTools, Inc. product Demo files located in the MT_DEMO folder. Be 
  29. sure to check them out, too!

  31. Macintosh Installation:
  32. (1) Insert the Kai's Power GOO Demo CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  33. (2) Click on the GOO Demo Icon. The Demo will automatically load and play off your CD 
  34. Drive.

  36. If you do not have QuickTime loaded on your Macintosh, you must load it from the CD-
  37. ROM prior to running the demo. To load QuickTime 2.1, scroll down past the "picture 
  38. frame" and open the Goo Demo Folder. Open the QuickTime 2.1 folder, and drag the three 
  39. QuickTime extensions to your System folder. Then restart your computer.

  41. There are other MetaTools, Inc. product Demo files located in the "More MetaTools 
  42. Product Demos" folder. Be sure to check them out, too!

  44. Exit Application
  45. To exit the GOO Demo hit the g key. This function works the same on both the Mac and 
  46. PC.
