  4. Wave Rider 1.32 is a minor upgrade version from 1.30 and 1.31. We released
  5. it to fix minor bugs.

  7. Different prompt on saving message
  8. ----------------------------------

  10. Wave Rider now prompts you to "Save Reply?" instead of "Save Message?" It
  11. does the same thing, saving the reply message, but now it's easier to
  12. understand.

  14. Delay added when closing packet
  15. -------------------------------

  17. In some cases, Wave Rider was not removing directories after closing a
  18. packet. We added code to wait for a few seconds, and to try for a total of
  19. five times. This was a timing issue between WR and Wavezip.

  21. QWK Packet Recovery
  22. -------------------

  24. We changed the directory structure for QWK replies in 1.31, and didn't get
  25. the changes accounted for in packet recovery. Works fine now.

  27. Can't find WRUZ error message

  30. With WR 1.31, WRUZ was the default packer, which we no longer ship. Now it
  31. defaults to WAVEZIP, which we do distribute.

  36. If the area name in CONTROL.DAT was over 50 characters, WR was not
  37. displaying properly.

  114. When you entered in a bogus path to your temp directory, Wave Rider 1.20
  115. would exit with an error.

  125. DC Software has confirmed this to be a problem in Wave Rider version 1.20.
  126. This problem was corrected in Wave Rider version 1.30.

  128. Key File Not Being Recognized
  129. =============================

  134. After registering Wave Rider and placing the key file in the same
  135. subdirectory, Wave Rider wasn't "seeing" the key file.

  137. CAUSE

  140. Wave Rider looks at the Waverdr Directory entry in the [Paths] section to
  141. determine if you are registered. If an invalid entry is present, your key
  142. file won't be recognized.
  143.  
  144. MORE INFORMATION

  147. From the Options menu, choose Setup. Then choose the Paths tab. Check the
  148. Wave Rider Path entry for errors. Correct as needed, and Wave Rider verion
  149. 1.30 will check for a valid path entry. Restart the application, and Wave
  150. Rider will "see" your key file.

  155. DC Software has confirmed this to be by design. The additional
  156. functionality of checking your path entry was added in Wave Rider version
  157. 1.30.

  159. BlueWave Bragline Change
  160. ========================

  162. In previous versions of Wave Rider, we placed the * Wave Rider 1.20 #x *
  163. ABOVE the ... this is a tagline line. In this release, it now is placed
  164. BELOW the ... tagline line.

  166. Additional Functionality Added to Wave Rider 1.30
  167. =================================================

  169. The main reason for releasing Wave Rider 1.30 was to add the functionality
  170. of allowing users to extract mail attachments that are included in QWK
  171. mail packets.
  172.  
  173. NOTE: The ONLY two mail attachment formats tested in this minor release are
  174. for Wildcat 4.x, and TBBS. We have sample mail packets and replies for
  175. MajorBBS, but we weren't able to add that funtionality in this release.

  177. We also added support for adding attachments to reply packets. Again, this
  178. is only valid for Wildcat 4.x, and TBBS.

  184. diskless release option. (Saves disks, mailers, and time.)
