  5. This game requires a minimum of 4 megabytes of memory in order to run.

  7. If you see "Failed to allocate memory" and have MS-Dos version 6.0 or above:
  8.     Reset your computer
  9.     When it announces "Starting MS-Dos" press F8
  10.     Step through the commands responding Y to all lines except those
  11.         refering to HIMEM.SYS and EMM386
  12.  
  13. This may provide you will probably provide enough memory to run HOCKEY '95.
  14. NOTE:   4 megabyte machines using compressed drives are not likely to
  15.     benefit from the above suggestion.

  18. Sound Problems
  19.  
  20. HOCKEY '95 requires a fully Sound Blaster compatible sound card in order
  21. to function. It checks a system variable to initialize called BLASTER.
  22.  
  23. To see if you have BLASTER set up, from the dos prompt type SET and press
  24. return. The list should include a line like:
  25.     BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T4
  26. (the exact values will depend on your system). Check the documentation
  27. relating to your sound card for further information.

  29. If the BLASTER variable is set and the system has no sound card the game
  30. will report an error. Type BLASTER= and press return before running the game.
