-
- This game lets you play the brain teaser game found in Cracker Barrel rest-
- aurants and many others nationwide. It will also show you the solutions,
- and give hints while playing.
-
- Play is simple if you have a mouse. First, you will be asked which peg to
- remove, since one hole must be empty to start play. Point to the peg you
- wish removed and click. The game now begins.
-
- A legal move requires you to jump a peg over another into a hole. To do this,
- click the peg you wish to move. It will start flashing. Next, click the hole
- you wish to place it in. The peg you jumped will be removed automatically.
-
- Continue play like this, trying to leave only one peg. An indicator on the
- right side of the screen tells whether or not a solution that leaves one peg
- is possible. When you have no legal moves left, you are evaluated and then
- asked if you wish to play again.
-
- If you want help, click the Hint button during play. If it is still possible
- to leave one peg, the computer will make a good move for you.
-
- One last thing you can do while playing is to click the Solve button. It will
- show you sequences of moves that leave one peg left.
-
- That's it! Good luck!
