  1. Xara Webster

  4. A downloadable utility for composing and optimising vector and bitmap
  5. graphics for the web. Imports a range of vector and bitmap formats,
  6. exports as JPEG, GIF or in Xara's own vector format designed specifically
  7. for use on the web. Uses techniques such as anti-aliasing, colour
  8. reduction, dithering and transparency to produce the best possible web
  9. graphics in the smallest possible file space.

  11. Note: for Internet connectivity Xara Webster relies on two DLLs supplied
  12. with MSIE 3.0, which are distributed separately in the AXDIST.EXE archive
  13. on the Xara Ltd site at http://www.xara.com/software/axdist.exe.

  15. Installation: extract the program webster.exe from this archive and run it.
  16. Status: Shareware

  18. Xara Webster may be freely distributed provided that all files in this
  19. distribution are also distributed with it.
