  10. Visual Access is a database driven, WEB ready hyperlink Image filing System.

  12. Simple enough to be operated by a child and powerful enough to be used in
  13. commercial business applications, Visual Access is a power tool that belongs 
  14. on every desktop.

  16. What does Visual Access do ? This program allows you to make use of image
  17. files in ways not previously possible, at least not at reasonable prices.
  18. With this product, you identify the images you wish to load into the library
  19. using standard common dialog windows. You provide common names to these images
  20. for later retrieval using the image library database. Once you have selected
  21. an image you can click and drag (similar to SHED) to create hotspots on the
  22. image. These hotspots can be virtually anything, sticky notes, sound files,
  23. image files, database records, etc.. You can provide common names to the
  24. hotspots themselves for later retrieval using the connection library database.
  25. This information can be viewed locally or over a LAN. You can also use this
  26. application in conjunction with other Windows apps, such as Word or Visio.

  28. The images, along with the connection information , can be published in two
  29. ways. First, you can use the Import/Export functions to send or receive data
  30. at remote sites. This is useful for laptop computers without access to the
  31. Internet. Second, you can create a WEB page containing the image, the connections,
  32. a linked list, an e-mail address, and any other text you wish to place on the
  33. page. The WEB Page Builder contains a number of editing options to spruce up
  34. your page.

  36. If you are using this product at home, you can have your child sing Happy
  37. Birthday to grandma, show a clip of a school play, etc, etc, 
  38. and let grandma see the pictures and hear the voices.

  40. If you are an auto parts company, you can spot up engine diagrams with
  41. part numbers and prices, reducing the load on your counter help.

  43. This program includes a help file and comes in two editions, Personal and Network.

  45. Author's Note: Although the Shareware Edition contained in this upload is
  46.                completely functional, you should know that the registered 
  47.                version is constantly undergoing improvement and enhancement.
  48.                Current enhancements include more choices for WEB page
  49.                backgrounds, a more sophisticated HTML editor, and support
  50.                for ODBC datasources. Other improvements are planned based on
  51.                user feedback. Triple "E" does not intend to update the
  52.                Shareware Edition on a regular basis.
