St Christopher's, which was founded in 1883, is a girls' day school drawing its pupils from a wide London catchment area. The main building is a handsome red brick Victorian house, and within the grounds are a science laboratory, computer room and four purpose built classrooms. In recent years the gymnasium has been rebuilt on a larger scale, and four more rooms built to provide additional art and music facilities.
The School offers a well-balanced, stimulating curriculum. High academic standards are expected and fostered, alongside interests in music, art and games, within a lively, friendly environment. After-school clubs include Art Club, Bridge/Chess Club, Computer Club, Gymnastics Club, Junior Science & Technology Club, Music Club, Short Tennis and Yoga Club.
Girls are prepared for 11+ entry to major London day schools, and to boarding schools.
