Heathfield School was founded in Harrow in 1900; it moved to its present location in September 1982, and became a member of the Girls' Public Day School Trust in September 1987. The School is situated on a nine-acre site, including six tennis courts and playing fields, and is well served by trains and buses, the nearest station being Eastcote.
The accommodation includes six Science Laboratories, a separate Music School, Technology Workshop, Computer Room, a well-equipped gymnasium, Art Rooms, Textiles Room, Geography Room, Careers centre and a large library.
The Junior Department is housed in new purpose-built separate accommodation where there are 11 classrooms, a hall, library and audio/visual room.
