  5. This disc contains MIDI files for hundreds of recorded performances of a
  6. wide variety of compositions compiled from the "MIDI Connection" section
  7. of NAUTILUS, the CD ROM-based information service.
  8.  
  9. Use of these files requires a basic computer/MIDI instrument set-up
  10. including the appropriate interface and software.
  11.  
  12. All of the MIDI information on this disc has been recorded in 2 formats:
  13. MasterTracks(tm)/Pro4(tm) (Passport Designs) format and in "Standard MIDI,"
  14. so that your particular software can either use the the MasterTracks format
  15. directly or import the standard MIDI files and convert them.

  17. The file \INDEX.TXT contains a list of all of the files on this disc.
  18.  
  19. The "Best of MIDI Connection" Volume 1 is an annual release from NAUTILUS.
  20. NAUTILUS is an evolving CD ROM-based information service, regularly
  21. published in a multimedia magazine format in both Macintosh® and 
  22. Windows(tm) with MPC Extensions versions.
