  5. Installation
  6. ============

  8. THIS PACKAGE REQUIRES THE FILE VROBJ.DLL VERSION 2.1B FOR INSTALLATION
  9. AND RUNTIME SUPPORT (unzipped file size 897251 bytes).
  10.  
  11. This runtime library is available free from most of the popular online services
  12. such as CompuServe and America Online.  
  13.  
  14. There are a variety of programs available for OS/2 that require this runtime
  15. library.  That is why it is -not- included in this program package.  Downloading
  16. this file separately ensures that you will only have to download it once.
  17.  
  18. You can unpack this DLL into any directory that is included within the LIBPATH
  19. defined by your CONFIG.SYS file.  If you are unsure about where to place the
  20. file, the root directory C:\ would be your best choice.
  21.  
  22. YOU MUST HAVE THE FILE VROBJ.DLL INSTALLED BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THIS INSTALL!

  24. To complete the installation you should...
  25.  
  26. (a) Copy the self-extracting zip file to a new working directory.
  27.    Be sure to keep a backup copy of the original zip file!  
  28.  
  29. (b) From a DOS window or full screen session, make the newly created directory
  30.    the current directory.  Then run the self-extracting zip file.  This will extract
  31.    all of the necessary installation files to the working directory. 
  32.     
  33.    After the install process has been completed, you may safely delete all of the
  34.    work files contained in the work directory.
  35.  
  36. (c) From an OS/2 window or full screen session,type 'Install'.  You will be prompted
  37.    for a directory name which will be the target of the installation process.
  38.  
  39. The installation program will provide you with a registration number.  You will need
  40. this number should you decide to register (purchase) your copy of this software.
  41.  
  42. The purchase price for this package, containing DayBreak!, DayBreak! File Maintenance,
  43. and Event Scheduler, is $20 (US).
