Program Control for OS/2 - PGMCNTRL - V1.02 - C.Langanke, 1996, 1997
command line parameters
-----------------------
In nearly all cases it is sufficient to specify only
the first character after the slash for switch parameters,
so specifying /T or /THISSESSION is equivalent.
Specifying /P is not enough, because
two parms start with /P, namely /PID and /POS,
so here you have to specify at least two characters of
the switch name. Same applies to /ALL and /ACTIVATE.
PGMCNTRL - forced kill feature -
--------------------------------
PGMCNTRL uses the "forced kill" only, if
- the DosKillProcess API is not able to kill the process
- and xf86sup.sys from Holger.Veit@gmd.de can be found
In order to enable PGMCNTRL to make use of the "forced" kill feature,
you have to have
- at least OS/2 WARP 3 with FP 17 or OS/2 WARP 4
- xf86sup.sys from Holger.Veit@gmd.de installed.
Make sure, that you have the latest version installed.
