This program allows you to schedule runs of programs or command
files on a particular weekday or on a daily basis. It selects the jobs to run that day on startup, and refreshes its run que at midnight. It maintains a log of the current run, as well as backups log for previous runs.
The program allows you to:
- view the current sessions log
- add a note that is posted to the log
- print the current log
- schedule events to run
- view the contents of the current run que
- remove scheduled events from the run que
- add or delete entries in the schedule file
- force a job defined in the schedule file to run immediately
INSTALLING:
The rexx exec (INSTALL.CMD) assumes you are installing from the A disk, so the copy of the programs into the EVTMON directory is from A:. Change that if you need to, but the C:\EVTMON and subordinate directories are required. Enjoy.
