  2. BenchTech for OS/2 version 1.01 patch

  6. This patch contains one fix for BenchTech for OS/2 version 1.00, 
  7. and is only for registered users. This patch does not stand alone;
  8. you need the rest of the package to use BenchTech. For ordering

  12. Version 1.01 addresses a problem the earlier version had with 
  13. network configurations. BenchTech fails to load properly
  14. when certain network requestors, like the Novell OS/2 requestor,
  15. were running.

  18. Installation instructions:
  19.  
  20. Open an OS/2 Window.
  21.  
  22. Change directory to the directory where you installed BenchTech,
  23. i.e. "cd c:\bnchtech"
  24.  
  25. Copy the version 1.00 executable to a backup (you should do a 
  26. copy as opposed to a ren or move, so that the program object (icon)
  27. will stay with the original, and you won't have to create a new
  28. program object)
  29. i.e. "copy bnchtech.exe bnchtech.bak"
  30.  
  31. Copy the new executable over the old one.
  32. i.e. copy a:\bnchtech.exe c:\bnchtech\bnchtech.exe
  33. if it is located on drive a:, or 
  34. i.e. copy c:\tapcis\download\bnchtech.exe c:\bnchtech\bnchtech.exe
  35. if it is located in a directory like c:\tapcis\download
