SourceSafe 3.0 Demo Disk for OS/2
──────────────────────────────────
All material copyright (c) 1993 One Tree Software
This diskette contains a demonstration of SourceSafe, the project-
oriented version control system. The demonstration is a COMPLETE WORKING
COPY of SourceSafe, not a slide show or other fakery. Therefore, your
first steps with this demo are the same as they would be with the actual
product.
1. Choose a volume on your hard disk or network to install SourceSafe to.
There should be at least 2 Megabytes of disk space free on this volume.
2. Create a directory for SourceSafe. For instance, you might create M:\SS.
3. Type INSTALL. The installation program will ask you a few simple
questions, and will then install a demonstration version of SourceSafe.
After the INSTALL process succesfully concludes, your SourceSafe demo
installation will be complete. You are ready to go through the tour
provided in the "Congratulations!" booklet, or otherwise use SourceSafe,
for 30 days. After 30 days, SourceSafe will cease functioning unless you
call One Tree Software at 1-800-397-2323 to upgrade to an actual SourceSafe
license.
When you are through with this demo, you do *NOT* need to return it to
One Tree Software. We would prefer you to give it to a friend.
