To navigate through the tutorial, use the
o F3 key to end the tutorial
o FORWARD button to get to the next panel
o BACKWARD button to get to the previous panel
o SUMMARY button to get a short summary of the previous steps (this button may
not exist in the tutorial you are currently viewing)
o MENU button to get to the topic/subtopic selection (this button may not exist
in the tutorial you are currently viewing).
You can also use the Contents pulldown on the actionbar to move to a specific
panel, if this pulldown has been provided by the tutorial author.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Help for Contents ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Select the Contents pulldown to get to the table of contents for this tutorial.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Help for Services ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Select the Services pulldown to
o get a hardcopy of the current screen or
o print the text from the active window or
o copy the text from the active window to the clipboard or
o enter comments about the tutorial or
o use the index to select a specific panel of the tutorial.

Select the Author Functions pulldown to
o use the debug dialog to
- look at variables
- activate the debugger
- get information about the version of Tutorial Manager/2 you are using.
o use the export function to create a dialog template of one of the currently
active windows.

Select Debug to

Select Export to create a dialog template of one of the currently active
windows.

Select Print to get a hardcopy of the screen or print the text of the active
window.
Note: This will take a while!

Select Index to get to a specific panel of the tutorial.

Select Copy to copy the text of the active window to the system clipboard. The
previous contents of the clipboard will be deleted.

Select this option to find out how to use help, to get extended help, to go to
a list of keys, to go to the help index or to display copyright information.

Help is always available for all common Tutorial Manager/2 controls. The author
of this tutorial can also specify help for all windows and controls he provides
in the tutorial.

Select this option to get an overview of how to navigate through tutorials.

Select this option to get a list of all active keys and their functions.

Select this option to display the help index.

Select this option to get copyright information about Tutorial Manager/2.

Select this option to enter comments about the tutorial. Your comment will be
completed with information about the position in the tutorial and a date/time
stamp.

Use
o F3 or Alt-F4 to end this tutorial
o Alt-F5 to restore the Tutorial Manager/2 window to its previous size and
position
o Alt-F6 to switch from one window to the next
o Alt-F7 to move the Tutorial Manager/2 window
o Alt-F8 to size the Tutorial Manager/2 window
o Alt-F9 to minimize the Tutorial Manager/2 window
o Alt-F10 to maximize the Tutorial Manager/2 window
o Ctrl-Esc to switch to the task list
o the cursor keys to move from one control in a group to the next control
o the tabulator keys to move from one group to the next group.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 19. Help for Index ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The list shows you topics of this tutorial sorted alphabetically. You can
select a specific topic by
o double-clicking on it
o highlighting it by clicking on it with the mouse and then clicking on the OK
button
o use the up- and down-arrow keys to highlight it and pressing Enter
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 20. Help for Copy ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
To copy text from the active window to the clipboard, select the number of
characters per line and select OK. The text will be formatted to the given
line-length.
Select Cancel, if you do not want to copy text to the clipboard.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 21. Help for Print ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
To get a hardcopy of the screen, select Hardcopy and OK.
To print text from the active window, select the number of characters per line
and select OK. The text will be formatted to the given line-length.
Select Printer properties to change the printer options.
Select Cancel, if you do not want to print.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 22. Help for Notepad ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
To store a comment about the current tutorial, enter the text and select OK.
Select Cancel, if you do not want to store the comment.
Your comment will be completed with information about the position in the
tutorial and a date/time stamp. Comments are saved in diskfiles in the current
directory. You can review your comments later on, or give them to the author of
the tutorial as a feedback.
The name of the diskfile is created in the following way:
o The name (8-characters) is the same as the name of the tutorial.
o The extension (3-characters) consists of the character 'C', followed by a
2-digit sequence number.
Sequence numbers start with '01'. If you already stored comments about the
tutorial in an earlier session, that number will be '02'.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 23. Help for Bookmark ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
You are about to exit Tutorial Manager/2. At this point you can
o set a bookmark: the tutorial will terminate and you will be able to restart
the tutorial at the same page as you left it,
o set a bookmark and resume: the tutorial will continue and you will be able to
restart the tutorial at the same page as you wrote the bookmark,
o exit without a bookmark: leave the tutorial without setting a bookmark.
