  1. LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR VIRTUAL PALMPAD

  3. The Virtual Palmpad is free; however,
  4. because it requires HOUSE/2, HOUSE/290
  5. or the CM17A Comm Engine, you are asked
  6. to register one of these three programs
  7. after a trial period of 30 days.
  8.  
  9. Non-registered users are granted a
  10. limited license to use the Virtual
  11. Palmpad Remote on a trial basis for the
  12. purpose of determining whether it is
  13. suitable for their needs.   Use of the
  14. Virtual Palmpad Remote, except for this
  15. limited purpose, requires registration
  16. of HOUSE/2, HOUSE/290 or the CM17A Comm
  17. Engine.

  19. Use of non-registered copies of the
  20. Virtual Palmpad Remote beyond a 30 day
  21. evaluation period by any person, business,
  22. corporation, governmental agency or other
  23. entity or institution is strictly
  24. forbidden.

  26. Use of registered copies of the Virtual
  27. Palmpad Remote by any business,
  28. corporation, governmental agency or other
  29. entity or institution is strictly
  30. forbidden without prior licensing
  31. arrangements and written consent of Lone
  32. Peak Automation, LLC.
  33.  
  34. Registration grants a user the right to
  35. use the Virtual Palmpad Remote on any
  36. number of computers provided the single
  37. computer limit of the CM11A, CP290 or
  38. CM17A Comm Engines is maintained. 
  39.  
  40. You may not modify the Virtual Palmpad
  41. Remote in any way, including but not
  42. limited to, decompiling, disassembling
  43. or otherwise reverse engineering the
  44. program. 
  45.  
  46. No part of the Virtual Palmpad Remote
  47. documentation may be reproduced, in any
  48. form or by any means, without permission
  49. in writing form from Lone Peak
  50. Automation, LLC.
  51.  
  52. All users are granted a limited license
  53. to copy the unregistered version of the
  54. Virtual Palmpad Remote only for the
  55. trial use of others subject to the above
  56. limitations. The following limitations
  57. apply for copying unregistered versions:

  59.    The Virtual Palmpad Remote must be
  60.    copied in unmodified form, complete
  61.    with the file containing license and
  62.    ordering information. 
  63.  
  64.    The full documentation for the Virtual
  65.    Palmpad Remote must be included in the
  66.    archive. 
  67.  
  68.    No fee, charge or other compensation
  69.    may be accepted or requested by any
  70.    licensee beyond a reasonable price for
  71.    the media the Virtual Palmpad Remote is
  72.    transferred on. 
  73.  
  74.    Operators of electronic bulletin board
  75.    systems and internet web/ftp sites may
  76.    post the unregistered version of the
  77.    Virtual Palmpad Remote for downloading
  78.    by their users as long as the above
  79.    conditions are met.

  81.    Distributors of public domain or user
  82.    supported software may distribute copies
  83.    of the unregistered version of the
  84.    Virtual Palmpad Remote subject to the
  85.    above conditions.

  88. DISCLAIMER

  90. Lone Peak Automation, LLC accepts no
  91. responsibility for damages to property or
  92. personal injury that may be caused by the
  93. use of the Virtual Palmpad Remote. The
  94. Virtual Palmpad Remote is provided "AS IS"
  95. and you as its user assumes the entire risk
  96. when you use it.

  98. Because of potential fire hazards, Lone
  99. Peak Automation, LLC does NOT recommend
  100. using the Virtual Palmpad Remote for
  101. controlling coffee pots, space heaters or
  102. similar heat-creating appliances.

  104. Lone Peak Automation, LLC is not connected
  105. to any companies mentioned nor do they
  106. endorse any of the products mentioned.

  108. All product names mentioned herein are the
  109. trademarks of their respective owners.

  113. products and can be registered through BMT
  114. Micro at www.bmtmicro.com.
