  39. MultiNote is currently in beta. This means that there is a lot of
  40. features added all the time but they are not allways tested as much
  41. as they should.

  43. We release a new public beta when we think we have major new features
  44. to show. We dont try to kill of all bugs since we know that most of you
  45. eagerly wants to try (and use) our new features and dont want to wait !

  47. We try to keep the (public) betas bugfree but there is not enough time 
  48. or resources to do that. By releasing public betas we give you as a user
  49. /tester a chance to have the features and you can help ut fix the problems
  50. that we had not had the time to find ourselves.

  52. However if you would like to work more closely with us you can register
  53. as a betatester. If you do that we will give you much more help but we
  54. will also demand things from you.

  57. Even if you do not want to register we still want you to send us your
  58. suggestions/complaints. We will try to help you as much as possible,
  59. but you will not recieve interim versions, technical help etc.

  63. Registered betatester

  65. When you register as betatester you will get the following:

  67. - Interim releases
  68.   If you find a bug that stops you using a specific function, and
  69.   we are able to fix it relativly easy, you will recieve a interim
  70.   version (non-public beta). This version may contain other features
  71.   not yet made public, and may contain new bugs.
  72.   You must keep these interim releases to your self.

  74. - Technical support
  75.   We answer technical questions (by email) and will try to (when we
  76.   have the hw/sw) to replicate/fix problems you have found.

  78. - Forehand information
  79.   We will keep you posted on things to come and give you information
  80.   on other (yet unreleased) products that we plan.

  82. - Free licence
  83.   You will recieve one free personal licence of MultiNote when it is
  84.   released.

  87. What you need to do to certify as a registered betatester:

  89. - Submit bugs (test, test, test...)
  90.   You must submit bug reports. This is the most important thing for
  91.   us. The only way for you to do this the right way is to test our
  92.   product, not just with what you normaly use but test it in any way
  93.   you can.

  95. - Keep quiet
  96.   You may not talk/write about non-public betas and our future plans
  97.   if we not specificly allow you to do that.

  99. - Spread the word
  100.   We want you to help us spread the word about our (public) products.
  101.   Do what you think you can do the best. If you get us a customer that
  102.   want 1000 site licences or you just get a friend to use our products,
  103.   do what you feel that you can do.
  104.   But please mail us so that we know what you have done.
