--------------------------------------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
Unable to move Windows icons in WIN-OS/2 to the OS/2 Desktop.
RESOLUTION
There are two ways to move Windows icons to the OS/2 Desktop:
* Download the utility program CVTICO.ZIP from the IBM PCC BBS
(919-517-0001).
Note: This program converts Windows icons to OS/2 icons. It is
shareware and is not supported by Personal Software Solution
Services.
* Follow these steps:
1. Open a WIN-OS/2 Full Screen session.
2. Select the icon you want to move.
3. Press Print Screen to place it on the WIN-OS/2 clipboard.
4. Open Paintbrush to edit the icon.
5. Press Shift+Insert twice to paste the icon into Paintbrush.
6. Use the Paintbrush cutting tool to cut the desired icon; then
press Ctrl+X to close Paintbrush.
7. Close all applications.
8. Open the Settings notebook of the program where you want to place
the new icon.
9. Select the General tab.
10. Select Edit.
11. Paste the icon into the Icon Editor and save the icon to a file.
Note: Follow these steps to move icons under OS/2 Warp.
