  13. This document contains updated Windows application information for OS/2 
  14. Warp. It includes:

  17. * Changes made to Windows files by OS/2 Warp
  18. * Intermittent General Protection (GP) faults in Quicken for Windows 
  19.   Version 4.0

  21. RESOLUTION

  23. Can OS/2 Warp be installed over OS/2 2.1 or 2.11?
  24.  
  25.   Currently, OS/2 Warp can be installed only over OS/2 for Windows,
  26.   DOS, or a blank partition. Information regarding the Fullpack release
  27.   is not yet available.

  29. My mouse isn't working in WIN-OS/2, but it does work in OS/2 and DOS.  
  30. What's wrong?
  31.  
  32.   Check the IRQ settings; there probably is an IRQ conflict between
  33.   serial ports. If the mouse is on COM1, disable COM3 or assign it to
  34.   another IRQ. You can change the IRQs and
  35.   addresses of COM3 and COM4. For example:
  36.  
  37.      x:\OS2\COM.SYS(3.03e8,2)
  38.  
  39.   Note: If you want to use IRQ5, LPT port 2 must be disabled. If you
  40.         use IRQ 2 or 9, remember that these are cascaded IRQs.

  42. Changes Occur to Several Windows Files during OS/2 Warp Installation

  58.         does not, OS/2 Warp adds it.

  153. Intermittent General Protection Faults in Quicken for Windows V 4.0
  154. -------------------------------------------------------------------
  155. GP faults in Quicken for Windows Version 4.0 occur intermittently when 
  156. using, launching, and closing the application. The problem has been 
  157. determined to be Quicken Code. Contact INTUIT for a resolution.
