  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.  
  14. After installing an OS/2 printer driver, no prompt is received about 
  15. installing an equivalent WIN-OS/2 printer driver.
  16.  
  17. RESOLUTION
  18.  
  19. There are two possible causes of this problem:
  20.  
  21. * The WIN-OS/2 version that comes with OS/2 is equivalent to Microsoft
  22.   Windows 3.1. Consequently, the only Windows printer drivers that come
  23.   with OS/2 are those that were available with Windows 3.1. If the OS/2
  24.   printer driver is later than Windows 3.1, there will be no equivalent
  25.   Windows driver.

  27.   SOLUTION: Install the Windows driver that came with the printer, or
  28.   contact the printer manufacturer for a Windows driver.
  29.  
  30. * The \OS2\MDOS\WINOS2\SYSTEM directory has the file, DRVMAP.INF. This
  31.   file matches the OS/2 printer drivers with the WIN-OS/2 printer
  32.   drivers. If the file is missing or damaged, you will not receive the
  33.   prompt about installing a WIN-OS/2 printer driver.

  35.   SOLUTION: Either copy DRVMAP.INF from another system, or unpack it
  36.   from the file, WINENV, which is on Diskette 12 in OS/2 Warp Fullpack.
