  13. DESCRIPTION

  15. Installing SVGA support for the ThinkPad 760ED under OS/2 Warp 4.
  16.  
  17. RESOLUTION
  18.  
  19. Note: The system must be set to Video Graphics Array (VGA) before 
  20.       attempting to install Super Video Graphics Array (SVGA) 
  21.       support. If you have another SVGA driver installed, use 
  22.       Selective Install to set the primary video back to VGA 
  23.       before proceeding.

  25. To install SVGA support on an OS/2 Warp 4 system running the VGA driver:
  26.  
  27. 1. Download the file UTTPGOS2.EXE from the IBM PC Company BBS 
  28.    at (919) 517-0001. Follow the instructions
  29.    provided to install the ThinkPad Utilities V5.0.   
  30.  
  31. 2. Once installed, under ThinkPad Options-Display, set the video to
  32.    presentation mode. Under Advanced, set the screen to Screen Expansion;
  33.    this causes fullscreen text sessions to fill up the screen.

  35. 3. Download the file VFTPOS2.EXE from the IBM PC Company BBS 
  36.    and follow the instructions provided to install the ThinkPad 760ED
  37.    OS/2 Warp SVGA drivers. 
  38.  
  39.    After you restart the computer, you can change the video resolution 
  40.    by double-clicking on the System icon in the System Setup folder.
