DESCRIPTION
When you do the following, it causes font corruption and a color change
within WIN-OS/2:
- Open a WIN-OS/2 Full Screen session
- Open and maximize an application (e.g., Lotus, MS-Office,
WIN-OS/2 Accessories)
- Alt+Esc back to the OS/2 Desktop
- Ctrl+Esc back to the WIN-OS/2 Full Screen session
- Minimize the application
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem:
1. Click on the WIN-OS/2 Full Screen icon with the right mouse
button (RMB) and select Settings.
2. Double-click on WIN-OS/2 settings.
3. Click on the radio button for All DOS and WIN-OS/2 settings,
and then click on OK.
4. Verify the settings for the following items (highlight each
one to view the setting). Change the settings as needed.
VIDEO_8514A_XGA_IOTRAP = OFF
VIDEO_FASTPASTE = ON
VIDEO_MODE_RESTRICTION = NONE
VIDEO_ONDEMAND_MEMORY = ON
VIDEO_RETRACE_EMULATION = ON
VIDEO_ROM_EMULATION = ON
VIDEO_SWITCH_NOTIFICATION = ON
VIDEO_WINDOW_REFRESH = 600
