  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. This document describes how to install a Windows printer driver after 
  14. installing OS/2 Warp.
  15.  
  16. RESOLUTION
  17.  
  18.  1. Open OS/2 System.
  19.  2. Open Windows Programs.
  20.  3. Select Program Manager.
  21.  4. Select Control Panel.
  22.  5. Select Printers.
  23.  6. Select Add.
  24.  7. Highlight the printer you want to install.
  25.  8. Select Install.
  26.  9. Select OK for the source drive to be A.
  27. 10. Follow the prompts.
  28. 11. Exit Program Manager after completing the installation.
  29. 12. Shut down the system and then restart it.

  31. To add a Windows printer driver when creating a printer object under 
  32. OS/2 Warp:
  33.  
  34. 1. Open OS/2 System.
  35.  
  36. 2. Open Templates.
  37.  
  38. 3. Create a new printer icon by dragging a printer template from the
  39.    Templates folder.
  40.  
  41. 4. Select the Create button.
  42.  
  43. 5. Select Yes, when asked if you wish to install an equivalent WIN-OS/2
  44.    printer configuration.
  45.  
  46. 6. Follow the prompts.
  47.  
  48. 7. Exit Program Manager after completing the installation.
  49.  
  50. 8. Shut down the system and then restart it.
  51.  
  52. Note: If there is no equivalent Windows driver, you are not prompted to
  53.       install an equivalent driver.
  54.  
  55.       Only the printer drivers shipped with Windows 3.1 are included in
  56.       OS/2 Warp. The drivers are not updated, and new printer models
  57.       are not included. Contact your printer vendor for new drivers.
