  9. DESCRIPTION

  11. DOCKMGR.EXE does not run on a ThinkPad 760ED because the planar id is 
  12. 18. A message box states "Dock Manager will not support the system."
  13.  
  14. RESOLUTION
  15.  
  16. The IBM PC Company is changing all of its production versions of the 
  17. ThinkPad 760 to a planar id of 18h. This includes the E, ED, EL, ELD, 
  18. X, and XD models. There is a workaround:

  20. When Dock Manager displays the panel saying that it will not support 
  21. the system, it is actually loaded and running. Ignore the message box 
  22. and press the OK button, leaving the error box where it is. Dock 
  23. Manager should be working.
