  13. DESCRIPTION
  14.  
  15. This document describes how to enable the Jazz 16 multimedia adapter to 
  16. run OS/2 MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) files in Windows.
  17.  
  18. Note: According to the online Multimedia book in the Information folder,
  19.       the Jazz 16 multimedia adapter cannot run these files in Windows.
  20.  
  21. RESOLUTION
  22.  
  23. After installing the Windows drivers, change the MIDI Mapper:
  24.  
  25.  1. Open Windows (full-screen or window session).
  26.  
  27.  2. Open Main Folder, if it is not already open.
  28.  
  29.  3. Select Control Panel.
  30.  
  31.  4. Select the MIDI Mapper icon.
  32.  
  33.  5. Select Edit to edit the MIDI Mapper.
  34.  
  35.  6. Using the Down Arrow, change the Port name for SRC Channels 1
  36.     through 4 to JAZZ OPL3 FM Synth 4.
  37.  
  38.  7. Select OK.
  39.  
  40.  8. Select Yes to save the changes.
  41.  
  42.  9. Select Close to close the MIDI Mapper.
  43.  
  44. 10. Close all windows and return to the Desktop.
