  11. DESCRIPTION

  13. During installation of OS/2 Warp, the CD-ROM driver, OS2CDROM.DMD, 
  14. cannot be found.
  15.  
  16. RESOLUTION

  18. This is a hardware problem.
  19.  
  20. On the back of the CD-ROM drive, set the jumper that controls the bus 
  21. device number to 0.
  22.  
  23. Most sound-card manufacturers leave the setting at the factory default 
  24. of 1. If it is not set to 0, Diskette 1 does not load OS2CDROM.DMD, and 
  25. the installation stops with a red screen indicating the CD-ROM cannot 
  26. be found.
