  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.  
  14. During installation, the following error message is received at 
  15. Diskette 1:
  16.  
  17.    The existing partition table on your hard disk was created by an
  18.    earlier version of the operating system. The partition table was
  19.    updated to ensure compatibility with the current version of the
  20.    operating system.
  21.  
  22.    The system must be restarted so that the updated partition table can
  23.    be recognized during system installation.
  24.  
  25.    Remove the Diskette from drive A.
  26.  
  27.    Insert the Installation Diskette in drive A.
  28.  
  29.    Press the Enter key.

  31. RESOLUTION
  32.  
  33. This message means that the IBM1S506.ADD or IBMINT13.I13 driver cannot 
  34. be used. If the IDE or SCSI controllers are not on the supported list, 
  35. contact the vendor to get an OS/2 driver.
