  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.  
  14. During installation of OS/2 Warp 4 on a Compaq Proliant 1500 server, 
  15. with CPQARRAY.ADD and CPQ53CX.ADD drivers added to diskette 2, an error 
  16. message states that "OS/2 is unable to operate hard disk or diskette 
  17. drive."

  19. RESOLUTION
  20.  
  21. Restart the system; press Alt-F1 when the small white rectangle appears 
  22. in the upper left corner of the screen. At the Recovery Choices screen, 
  23. press F6 to disable hardware detection.
