  13. During installation of OS/2 Warp 3.0, the following error is received 
  14. at Diskette 1:

  33. A non-alphabetic character was used in the CONFIG.SYS file to remark-out
  34. a statement. For example, instead of:
  35.  
  36.    REM BASEDEV=IBM1S506.ADD
  37.  
  38. the statement might be:
  39.  
  40.    ;BASEDEV=IBM1S506.ADD
  41.  
  42. The use of the semicolon (;) results in the C0000005 error.
  43.  
  44. Make sure there are no such characters in the CONFIG.SYS statements.
