  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. During the first phase of installation, the following error message 
  14. occurs:
  15.  
  16. SYS0318, Cannot find OSO001.MSG for message 3175.
  17.  
  18. RESOLUTION
  19.  
  20. 1. Use a text editor to edit the CONFIG.SYS file on the OS/2 Warp 4
  21.    Installation Diskette 1. Change the following line, 
  22.    from:
  23.  
  24.      PROTSHELL=SYSINST1.EXE
  25.  
  26.    to:
  27.  
  28.      PROTSHELL=CMD.EXE
  29.  
  30. 2. Restart the system using the OS/2 Warp 4 Installation Diskette; 
  31.    substitute the modified Diskette 1 when prompted for Diskette 1,
  32.    then insert the original Diskette 2 when prompted.

  34. 3. When the system takes you to an OS/2 command prompt, type:
  35.  
  36.     SYSINST2, then press Enter.
  37.  
  38. 4. The Easy/Advanced Installation screen appears; continue with the
  39.    installation.
