  4. DESCRIPTION OF SYMPTOMS:
  5.     Symptom 1.

  7.         When users hit play from Compact Disc player in Multimedia
  8.         Folder no audio is heard. Master volume is set to 100 and
  9.         does not resolve the problem.

  11.     Symptom 2.
  12.  
  13.         If users record in the Digital Audio applet and line in is set
  14.         for the source no audio is recorded when record button is
  15.         pressed.

  17.     Sound Blaster boards that may be affected are:

  19.         Sound Blaster Pro (OPL2)
  20.         Sound Blaster Pro 2 (OPL3)
  21.         Sound Blaster 16 (OPL3)
  22.         Sound Blaster AWE32 (Wave Table)

  29. DETAILS OF RESOLUTION:
  30.     The line in volume can be changed from zero to a nominal number
  31.     by doing the following:
  32.  
  33.     1.   Download from Creative Labs BBS the OS/2 Mixer. Follow
  34.          the readme on how to setup a program icon on the desktop
  35.          for the Mixer. When the mixer is started adjust the Line
  36.          In volume to your liking. You can save the settings and
  37.          put the Mixer in the Startup folder. This will start when
  38.          the machine boots up to the OS/2 Desktop. If this is not
  39.          done the Line In volume will reset back to zero once the
  40.          machine is cold booted.
