  7.     Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures

  10.     NOTE: You need two 5.25" diskettes for this procedure.
  11.     Label one OS/2 WARP 525 CD DISK 0 and the other OS/2 WARP 525 CD
  12.     DISK 1.
  13.  
  14.     NOTE: If using Advanced Install, do NOT choose to format HPFS.
  15.  
  16.     1.  Start the system from DOS.
  17.  
  18.     2.  Insert the 525 CD DISK 1 into Drive A:. From the C:\> prompt,
  19.         type:
  20.                 FORMAT A: /U and press Enter
  21.  
  22.     3.  When prompted for the volume label, type:
  23.                 DISK 1 and press Enter.
  24.  
  25.     4.  From the C:\> prompt, type pressing Enter after each:
  26.             MD CDINST
  27.             CD CDINST
  28.             MD DISK0
  29.             MD DISK1
  30.             CD DISK1
  31.  
  32.     5.  Insert the 3.5" WARP DISK 1 in Drive B.  Type the following,
  33.         pressing Enter after each:
  34.             COPY B:\*.*
  35.             DEL IBM2*.*
  36.             DEL CLOCK02.SYS
  37.             DEL PRINT02.SYS
  38.             DEL SCREEN02.SYS
  39.             DEL TEDIT.*
  40.             DEL PRINT01.SYS
  41.             DEL HPFS.IFS
  42.  
  43.     6.  Insert the 3.5" WARP Install diskette in drive B: and type:
  44.           COPY B:\LMS205.ADD and press Enter.
  45.  
  46.     7.  Using an editor, edit C:\CDINST\DISK1\CONFIG.SYS
  47.         Put REM before the each of following lines:
  48.             IFS=HPFS.IFS /C:64
  49.             BASEDEV=PRINT01.SYS
  50.             BASEDEV=IBM2FLPY.ADD
  51.             BASEDEV=IBM2ADSK.ADD
  52.             BASEDEV=IBM2SCSI.ADD
  53.  
  54.     8.  Below the line BASEDEV=LMS206.ADD, add the line:
  55.             BASEDEV=LMS205.ADD
  56.  
  57.     9.  Save the file and exit the editor.
  58.  
  59.     10. Copy the entire directory to the 525 CD DISK 1 in the A:
  60.         drive.
  61.             COPY *.* A:\ and press Enter.
  62.  
  63.     11. Insert the 525 CD DISK 0 in Drive A: and from the C:\>
  64.         prompt, type:
  65.             FORMAT A: /U and press Enter.
  66.  
  67.     12. When prompted for the volume label, type:
  68.             DISK 0 and press Enter.
  69.  
  70.     13. Type the following, pressing Enter after each.
  71.             CD..
  72.             CD DISK0
  73.             COPY B:\*.*
  74.             DEL BUNDLE
  75.  
  76.     14. Type:
  77.             DEBUG and press Enter.
  78.  
  79.     15. From the - prompt, type the following, pressing Enter after
  80.         each:
  81.  
  82.             L DS:0 1 0 1
  83.             E 13 60
  84.             E 14 09
  85.             E 15 F9
  86.             E 16 07
  87.             E 18 0F
  88.             W DS:0 0 0 1
  89.             Q
  90.  
  91.             COPY *.* A:\
  92.  
  93.     16. Remove the WARP Installation diskette from drive B: and
  94.         restart the system to begin the install.
  95.  
  96.     17. Insert OS/2 WARP 525 CD DISK 1 when prompted to insert DISK
  97.         1 and follow the prompts.
  98.  
  99.     Select Easy or Advanced Installation.
