  4. DESCRIPTION OF SYMPTOMS:
  5.     GP Faults in comm drivers while launching or running various
  6.     communication applications for Windows under either
  7.     2.1 for Windows or WARP
  8.

  12. DETAILS OF RESOLUTION:
  13.     Many Windows based Communications applications when installed,
  14.     replace the default COMM.DRV to another driver. These drivers
  15.     attempt to poll com ports in such a way that OS/2 will detect
  16.     this polling and generate errors and terminate the app.
  17.  
  18.     If these symptoms present themselves, edit SYSTEM.INI. In the .BOOT.
  19.     Section, notice the COMM.DRV section, if it equals ANYTHING but
  20.     COMM.DRV, edit the statement accordingly so that
  21.     COMM.DRV=COMM.DRV.
