OS/2 WARP FIXPACK XR_WPK1

Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures

REQUIREMENTS:
----------------------------------------------------------------
To install this FixPak for OS/2 Warp, you must be at the
General Availability (GA) level of code (XR03000). This fix
resolves problem PJ16095.
Type SYSLEVEL at an OS/2 prompt to determine the "Current CSD
Level" of your system.
DOWNLOADING THE FIXPACK FILES:
----------------------------------------------------------------
1. Dial the IBM PCC BBS at 919-517-0001, internal tie line
number is 8-265-0001. When you connect to BBS, you are asked
for the following information:
2. Name (F): First Name
3. Name (L): Last Name
4. Password: Create a password
5. Press "D" on the IBM PCC Public BBS New User Main Menu and
then type the filename you want to download. You need the
following files:
Filename Description
----------- -------------
LDF.COM Creates diskettes from the image files you are
downloading.
WARPBDSK.1DK These are the diskettes that apply the FixPak
WARPBDSK.2DK to OS/2 Warp. The first diskette is a boot
diskette. You need these diskettes the first
time you apply a Warp fix.
XR_WPK1.DSK The fixpack file
6. Choose N,8,1 as the communication protocol.
7. Continue until all required files are on your system.
CREATING DISKETTES FROM THE IMAGES
----------------------------------------------------------------
1. Put all files in a single directory.
2. Type: LDF. This uncompresses LDF.COM and creates a file called
LOADDSKF.EXE for putting the disk images onto diskettes.
The disk images have a .DSK or .xDK extention. The "x"
is the sequence of disk images downloaded starting with 1.
3. Insert a blank formatted 1.44MB 3.5" diskette in drive A:
4. Type:
LOADDSKF IAMAGE.DSK A:
Substitute a different drive letter if appropriate, B: for
example.
There is a README.1ST on the first image diskette that
provides instructions for applying the FixPak to your
system.
PROBLEMS INSTALLING THE FIXPAK

If you are at the correct CSD Level and still have problems
installing the FixPak,please call OS/2 Technical Support.
