  11. REQUIREMENTS:

  14. To install this FixPak for OS/2 Warp, you must be at the
  15. General Availability (GA) level of code (XR03000). This fix
  16. resolves problem PJ16095.
  17.  
  18. Type SYSLEVEL at an OS/2 prompt to determine the "Current CSD
  19. Level" of your system.
  20.

  22. DOWNLOADING THE FIXPACK FILES:
  23. ----------------------------------------------------------------

  25. 1. Dial the IBM PCC BBS at 919-517-0001,  internal tie line
  26.    number is 8-265-0001.  When you connect to BBS, you are asked
  27.    for the following information:
  28.  
  29.  
  30. 2. Name (F):  First Name
  31. 3. Name (L):  Last Name
  32. 4. Password:  Create a password
  33.  
  34. 5. Press "D" on the IBM PCC Public BBS New User Main Menu and
  35. then type the filename you want to download.  You need the
  36. following files:
  37.  
  38. Filename        Description
  39. -----------     -------------
  40. LDF.COM         Creates diskettes from the image files you are
  41.                 downloading.
  42.  
  43. WARPBDSK.1DK    These are the diskettes that apply the FixPak
  44. WARPBDSK.2DK    to OS/2 Warp.  The first diskette is a boot
  45.                 diskette.  You need these diskettes the first
  46.                 time you apply a Warp fix.

  51. 6.  Choose N,8,1 as the communication protocol.
  52.  
  53. 7. Continue until all required files are on your system.

  57. CREATING DISKETTES FROM THE IMAGES
  58. ----------------------------------------------------------------
  59. 1. Put all files in a single directory.
  60.  
  61. 2. Type: LDF. This uncompresses LDF.COM and creates a file called
  62.    LOADDSKF.EXE for putting the disk images onto diskettes.
  63.  
  64.    The disk images have a .DSK or .xDK extention.  The "x"
  65.    is the sequence of disk images downloaded starting with 1.
  66.  
  67. 3. Insert a blank formatted 1.44MB 3.5" diskette in drive A:

  69. 4. Type:

  71.      LOADDSKF IAMAGE.DSK A:
  72.  
  73.    Substitute a different drive letter if appropriate, B: for
  74.    example.
  75.  
  76. There is a README.1ST on the first image diskette that
  77. provides instructions for applying the FixPak to your
  78. system.

  80. PROBLEMS INSTALLING THE FIXPAK

  83. installing the FixPak,please call OS/2 Technical Support.
