  9. XR0A058 contains a code fix for the OS/2 problem reported to the IBM
  10. OS/2 Support Center.
  11.  
  12. If you have problems after installing the fix package, call
  13. 1-800-992-4777 and use your existing PMR number.
  14.  
  15. You do not need to call back if the problem is corrected after
  16. you install the fix package.

  19. REQUIREMENTS:
  20.  
  21. One of the following:
  22.  
  23.  -  OS/2 2.1 with XR06200 ServicPak installed.
  24.  -  OS/2 2.11
  25.

  28. To download fixpack XR0A058, call the IBM PCC BBS
  29. at (919) 517-0001 and answer the following prompts:
  30.  
  31. FIRST NAME:  BOCA
  32. LAST NAME:   OS2149
  33. PASSWORD:    BOCA49
  34.  
  35. At the Main Menu:
  36.  
  37. 1.  Type: L P and press Enter to list the private files.
  38.     XR0A058.1DK and XR0A058.2DK files appear on the list.
  39.  
  40. 2.  Type:  M and press Enter to mark the files you want to
  41.     download.
  42.  
  43. 3.  Type:  A B and press Enter.
  44.  
  45. 4.  Type:  Q and press Enter to quit.
  46.  
  47. 5.  Press Enter to return to main menu.
  48.  
  49. 6.  Type:  D and press Enter to download the marked files.
  50.  
  51. 7.  Type:  M and press Enter for the marked files.
  52.  
  53. 8.  Type:  A B and press Enter to download the marked files.
  54.     When this is completed:

  56. 9.  Download the following files:
  57.  
  58.              BOOTDISK.1DK
  59.              BOOTDISK.2DK.
  60.  
  61.     These files are located in the public file directory on the
  62.     main file menu.  You can do a global search to find the
  63.     files.

  65. 10. Download LDF.COM to unpack the files.  It is also in the public
  66.     directory.  This file "expands" the LOADDSKF.EXE file when
  67.     it is run from an OS/2 Window or full screen.

  69. 11. When you see the message,  AutoLogoff after file transfer?
  70.     Type Y or N  and press Enter.
  71.  
  72. 12. Select the correct protocol for downloading the files.
