ACTIONS:
-------
1. README.INS on diskette #3 of OS/2 2.1 has these instructions.
2. Copy the ESSTART.BAK file in the OS2\INSTALL subdirectory over the
ESSTART.CMD file on diskette #1 of Extended Services.
AND/OR
3. Change the ESSTART.CMD on ES 1.0 diskette #1 and in the OS2\INSTALL
subdirectory as follows:
SET INOS2REL=%6 <=== Change this line in the
ESSTART.CMD. The ESSTART.CMD
is found in two locations and
must be changed in both.
First, change the ESSTART.CMD
file found in the subdirectory
OS2\INSTALL on your hard disk.
Second, change the ESSTART.CMD
on diskette #1 of the Extended
Services Install Package you are
using.
SET INOS2REL=200 <=== Line should read.
Don't forget to set the read/write protect tab to the write position
on the ES 1.0 diskette before editing. If you do forget, you may get
an error when trying to save the file (after setting the diskette
tab) indicating that the diskette is full. If this happens, simply
try the 'Save' function again. Save the file using file type 'Plain
text'.
