  11. SYMPTOMS:

  13.  A disk read error occurs when attempting to start the
  14.  system from the installation diskette.
  15.  
  16. RESOLUTION:
  17.  
  18.  The following hard disk controllers produce the error
  19.  message, "Disk read error has occurred" when attempting
  20.  to start from the installation disk.
  21.  
  22.   Future Domain TMC-850/860/875/885 w/BIOS revision level 7.0.
  23.   Future Domain TMC-1660/1670/1680 w/BIOS revision level 2.0.
