  5.        TITLE:  IBM ISA CD-ROM INSTALLATION FOR OS/2 2.1

  7.        To properly install this drive you will need the following:
  8.  
  9.        1. The switch settings on the interface card.  Refer to
  10.        your CD-ROM manual.  2. The Diskette with the ISACDOS2.ADD
  11.        driver.  3. The OS/2 diskettes or the CD-ROM install
  12.        package.
  13.  
  14.        FOR INSTALLATION OF OS/2 2.1 FROM THE IBM ISA CD-ROM
  15.        --------------------------------------------------------------

  17.        1. Make a diskcopy of OS/2 DISK1.
  18.  
  19.        2. Edit the CONFIG.SYS and add the device driver line.
  20.        BASEDEV=ISACDOS2.ADD /M:xxx Where xxx is the hex address
  21.        set on the switches.
  22.  
  23.        3. Start the installation.
  24.  
  25.        SUPPORT FOR THE IBM ISA CD-ROM AFTER OS/2 IS INSTALLED

  28.        1. Open the OS/2 SYSTEM ICON.
  29.  
  30.        2. Open COMMAND PROMPTS.
  31.  
  32.        3. Open OS/2 WINDOW.
  33.  
  34.        4. Type E CONFIG.SYS.
  35.  
  36.        5. Add the line:  BASEDEV=ISACDOS2.ADD /M:xxx Where xxx is
  37.        the hex address set on the switches.
  38.  
  39.        6. Save and exit.

  41.        7. Type exit
  42.  
  43.        8. Close COMMAND PROMPTS.

  45.        9. Select SYSTEM SETUP.
  46.  
  47.        10.  Select SELECTIVE INSTALL.
