BLACK ICONS RANDOMLY APPEAR WITH IMAGE ADAPTER VIDEO DRIVERS
AFTER APPLYING XR06200

SYMPTOM:
Icons randomly appear black after applying Service Pak XR06200.
This is an annoyance, but does not effect productivity.
RESOLUTION:
You need the following 32 bit, Version 2.10, image adapter
drivers:
IA16V210.ZIP OS/2 1.3 or 2.0 Device Support
DDFV210.ZIP Display Support
IA32V210.ZIP OS/2 V2.10 or higher 32 bit support
PROCEDURES:
Use any of the following procedures to obtain the files:
1. Download the files from the Service Delivery Machine
at (407) 443-8000 in AREA 2 VIDEO Utilities and Drivers.
Password is IMAGE
NOTE: Make sure you label the diskettes when they
are formatted. For example:
IAA16210
DISP_SPT
IAA32210
2. Ask your IBM SE or account representatiave to request the
files on VM using the following command:
TOOLS SENDTO BCRVM1 SERC DISPLAY GET IAAV210 PACKAGE
It can take up to 24 hours to receive an electronic request.
Files can then be downloaded to diskettes - these are binary
files in EMT format.
3. Download the files from the IBM BBS (919) 517-0001.
4. If the above options are not feasible, call the OS/2 800
number and request APAR PJ14534. This is sent to you by
first class mail.
