  5. This package contains a complete replacement for the IBM
  6. WebExplorer. The IBM WebExplorer will be at the 1.1f version after
  7. the installation of this package.
  8. This version of WebEx contains the following changes (in addition
  9. to the fixes in previous versions)
  10. A new function is added to WebExplorer to define domains which
  11. do not require the use of a proxy server. This function helps
  12. to decrease the use of a proxy server for sites which do not
  13. require its use. This function is provided via the "No Proxy For"
  14. option (in the Configure/Servers panel).

  16. This version of WebExplorer contains the following APAR fixes:
  17.  
  18. IC13903 - WebExplorer only saves forms data on the first submission.
  19.           Therefore, reloading the resulting page will use the data
  20.           from the first submission, not the last submission.
  21. IC14800 - Swapper grows when using WebMap and could crash WebExplorer.
  22. IC14858 - WebExplorer is not displaying accented characters in places
  23.           like ALT=, Form buttons, links, NewsGroup, Mailto.
  24. IC14988 - WebExplorer was denied access when the server did not return
  25.           a "realm=..." string in the header
  26.  
  27. The executable provided is a self-extracting zip file.  Run the
  28. executable, specifying the directory where you want the files to be
  29. unpacked to. For example:

  31.    WEBXV11F.EXE D:\UNZIP
  32.  
  33. will unpack the WEBXV11F.EXE packed file to D:\UNZIP directory.
