*** The following text is not part of the log...
NOTE: The SPAWNING BBS DID NOT RETURN 0! message is typical when
Maximus is used. Maximus returns error levels to indicate what
occurred when the program operated, and to trigger other activities
when it has finished. For the most part, you can ignore these
messages ... especially if you see a significant time difference
between when the LOGIN occurred and the message... This would
indicate that the user spent some time on the BBS before returning,
so you could be sure (reasonably) that the BBS ran properly. If you
want to be really sure, check the logs of the BBS program.
YOU can format these entries just about any way you like by changing
the configuration program. The time, date, and login code parts of
the log entries can be used for billing purposes if you wish to charge
by the minute, hour, or connection... It's up to you to decide how you
want your log file to look, and how you wish to interperate the data.
YOU will not be able to edit the log file when TSERVE is running, but
you can type it and pipe that text into a file. Then do whatever you
like to that file. ie.. "type tserve1.log > sample.log".
