  1. This is complete OS/2 32bit telnet daemon with multiuser support
  2. and protected shell including mail client and text editor for ANSI
  3. terminal.
  4. Software requirements: OS/2 Warp and Apop3D v1.25
  5. Status :Freeware.

  11. telnetd.cfg - ETC directory

  14. 1. This programs work only with A. Mueller Apop3D package version
  15. 1.25 or higher. It will not work with older versions because
  16. of changes in data structures. It uses ASHARED.DLL for
  17. user accounting and directly reads and decodes mails from
  18. user's directories.

  20. 2. You must define in config.sys USER_HOME variable
  21. (directory where the user directories will be created)
  22.  
  23. 2. To use su command which passes you to system shell
  24. you must have root account defined in user.ini and
  25. privilege set to this account by userpriv to DENY.

  27. 3. talkd doesn't work with the native OS/2 talk program
  28. because it is single user only. You must use ytalk
  29. or something like it.

  31. 4. You may edit telnetd.cfg and add or remove any commands except
  32. internal.
