  1. v1.27 fixes a bug with the logon button.
  2. It also adds the capability to change the
  3. font size in the directory list window.
  4. Users upgrading from a previous version
  5. must replace the path.txt file with the
  6. one in the v1.27 zip.

  8. v1.26 adds command mode capabilities
  9. and fixes a few bugs. The format for
  10. path.txt and host.txt are unchanged.
  11. If you are upgrading from v1.25, copy
  12. sftp.exe and sftp2.exe from the zip
  13. to your sftp directory. See WHATSNEW
  14. for explanation of command mode.

  16. Please note, for persons who are
  17. upgrading to SFTP v1.24, the path.txt
  18. file must be copied to your sftp directory.
  19. Older versions of path.txt will not allow
  20. sftp to be displayed on your monitor. Also,
  21. sftp now requires two extra files to run
  22. properly. They are sftp2.exe (note the 2)
  23. and go.exe. Go.exe is a cardware process killer
  24. function by Carsten Wimmer. Please follow
  25. the directions in the go_15.zip file to
  26. register for go. SFTP now uses
  27. Go.exe to kill download processes.

  29. With v1.24, sftp introduces Cruise Mode for
  30. muli-process file transfers. For more information
  31. on Cruise Mode, read the file CRUISE.MOD.

  33. For persons upgrading from SFTP v1.09 or
  34. below, SFTP now requires the FILEREXX.DLL included
  35. in the sftp zip. Be sure to copy both
  36. rxftp.dll and filerexx.dll to a directory
  37. in your DLL path.

  39. Thanks to Jeff Glatt, author of
  40. FILEREXX, the SFTP progress indicator,
  41. in version 1.10 and beyond, now works
  42. on FAT partitions.

  44. Also, version 1.11 and beyond now support hosts aliases
  45. and require a new format for the hosts.txt file.
  46. Old host.txt file must be converted
  47. to the new format. If you are upgrading from v1.10
  48. or below, convert you host.txt file by doing the
  49. following: place a copy of your hosts.txt file and the
  50. convert.cmd file that comes with sftp in the same directory.
  51. Open an os2 command window and switch to the directory
  52. with these two files. At the command prompt type: convert
  53. and press enter. The program will prompt you for host
  54. aliases for each of your hosts. Copy your converted
  55. hosts.txt file back to your sftp directory.
