'D' release
Some users of POPit have not been able to upgrade to this release. This is
due to an apparent bug in VROBJ.DLL that seems to be a little different
on different systems. I am having a bit of a problem finding a fix that
works for everyone (the behaviour of this bug on my machine is quite
easily worked around).
What I have done is to include what I believe to be a minimal POPit.INI
file in this 'release'. It is zipped into the file popitini.zip. If you
are not having problems don't do anything with this .INI file. If you
are, backup your current POPit.INI file and replace it with the contents
of popitini.zip. I hope this will allow you to avoid the problem, but you
will have to re-configure POPit.
Sorry for the difficulties.
'E' release
This fixes a problem when POPit connects to certain POP servers. If you
cannot do a manual connect to an empty mailbox, this should fix you up.
