  9. PMArchie is a shareware front end program to the archie program for OS/2.  Some 
  10. of the features of PMArchie include threaded searches, printing and ftping 
  11. abilities.

  34. IBM TCPIP ver 2.0 is required for archie.exe.

  36. Archie.exe is required to be in the working directory or path.  You can find 
  37. archie.zip at ftp-os2.cdrom.com in pub/os2/2_x/network.

  39. Copy vrobj.dll to a directory in your libpath in the config.sys.

  41. That's it, you have just finish setting up PMArchie for OS/2.

  48. Just check the boxes for the different search criteria you want.

  50. The Search String entry field is where you enter the filename that you want to 
  51. search for.

  53. Case sensitive, Exact, Regular and Case insensitive are different ways to 
  54. search for your filename.

  56. Alex, List one match per line, default are the different ways to return the 
  57. results of the search.

  59. Max number of hits to return is the maxinum number of results to list.  The 
  60. default is 95.

  62. Specifies server host will use that archie server instead of the default archie 
  63. server.

  65. Query niceness level can be between 0 and 35765.

  71. When you click on List Servers button from the main menu it will return a list 
  72. of archie servers.  These archie servers can be used with the Specifies server 
  73. host on the main menu.

  79. This is a typical result from an archie search.  The Host ftp.egr.msu.edu is 
  80. the ftp site where you can find rolodx23.zip file.  You can save this result to 
  81. a file by pressing the File button.  It will prompt you for a name to save the 
  82. file as.  By selecting ftp.egr.msu.edu with your mouse or keyboard and then 
  83. pressing either FTP or FTPPM will start a ftp session to the site selected. 
  84. The Print button will print the results to the printer selected.  See print 
  85. options for more details.

  91. The printer queues list box list the availibiles printer to print the archie 
  92. search results. The Print button will print the content of the archie results 
  93. to the printer selected. The Printer Setup button will allow you to change the 
  94. setting on the printer selected. And the Cancel button will return to you to 
  95. your archie search results.

  101. When you press the List Searches from the main menu, it will bring up a list of 
  102. search id. You can stop a search by selecting the corresponding search id and 
  103. pressing the kill button.
