  2.     MIMEFILE Mime base 64 conversion utility for DOS, OS/2 and UNIX

  5.   MIMEFILE is a very fast encode and decode program to convert any file
  6.   to or from MIME base 64 format.  This package contains executable
  7.   software for the DOS, OS/2, Coherent (Unix clone), and BSD (386) Unix
  8.   environments.

  10.   Any file may be encoded as a MIME base 64 file, and then decoded back
  11.   to the exact original file.  This is useful for transfer of binary 
  12.   file types between computer systems.  Mime base 64 encoded files may 
  13.   be passed between systems as text files and are not subject to 
  14.   problems when run through ASCII<->EBCDIC conversions.  A mime base 64
  15.   encoded file may be decoded safely back into the original binary
  16.   format even if blanks and linefeeds have been altered.
