Tiny Mail (C)1993 Turgut Kalfaoglu
-----------------------------------
SHAREWARE: This code is now in shareware status. Meaning, in case of
"prolongued exposure", you must register it. See the bottom of the
file for details.
Tiny Mail allows you to read and write mail from your PC without
needing LAMAIL. LAMAIL tends to be resource consuming, and sluggish.
Tiny Mail is the opposite. It provides a bare-bones minimal setup
that resembles "old" Unix line-mode MAIL readers. Let's talk about
its features:
* It requires IBM TCP/IP. It actually just needs SENDMAIL.EXE.
* It can resolve nicknames from your NAMES file.
* It can log outgoing mail to a notebook file.
* It can accept 'external' programs, to write mail or to read mail.
* It now accepts a signature file.
* It is entirely written in Rexx, for OS/2 2.0 and above.
* It has a good RFC822 parser that can understand most mail headers.
USING Tiny Mail
To use TinyMail, you first need to configure it. See the MAIL.CFG
file supplied, and follow the directions there.
Once done, there are two ways to start it:
To READ your mail, just type MAIL
To SEND mail, type MAIL user@node
or, MAIL nickname
You can specify additional addresses, just separate them with commas.
