The enclosed 2 files are my signature setup.
It allows you to put a tag into the middle of your signature file.
It does this by re-creating the file each time a message is sent.
Becuase of the way the pre-send filter works, the tag file that you
see when you reply or write a new message is the sig.fil that will be
sent with the next message. You sig.fil has been changed and the new
sig.fil appears at the end of your next new or reply message.
You can solve this problem, bypaqssing the filter process. Use the
following in your reply template:
$if !new
==================== in reply to ====================
FROM:@HEADERINFO:From@
TO: @HEADERINFO:To@
WHEN: @HEADERDATE:%m/%d/%y@ at @HEADERDATE:%I:%M %p@,
WHAT: @HEADERINFO:Subject@
========== orignal message attached below ===========
JK->+--------->
$endif
$Body JK->+--------------->
@Run: shortsig@
$file: mr2i.sig
NOTE: The @Run: shortsig@ execute the rexx script before the sig file
is re-written. This means what you see is what goes out with that
message. This no longer requires a filter of any kind. If you wish to
change the quote character to something similar to mine, you must go
to the options page 2 and enter your characters. To get a space at
the end, use Alt255 from the number key pad.
