  39. Welcome to the the Hethmon Brothers Inet.Mail Server for
  40. OS/2. This program has been designed from the ground up for OS/2.
  41. It provides a full featured Internet mail server supporting the SMTP
  42. and POP3 protocols. A full Presentation Manager interface is provided
  43. for easy configuration.

  81. Demonstration Limitations:

  83. The basic demonstration version is limited to 10 users. To enable
  84. Inet.Mail to support unlimited users, you may use the special
  85. registration code of "demolicense". This will enable all features
  86. during the trial period. The 10 and 20 user versions do not include
  87. support for the Igate or -allmail options.

  89. The trial period is for 45 days from installation. After this time,
  90. Inet.Mail will continue to function in 10 user mode. It will periodically
  91. remind you to register after 45 days. There are no nags during the
  92. 45 day trial period.

  98. To install the program, use the included Install.exe program and
  99. follow the directions.

  111. Steward. Steward is similar to the Unix Majordomo, but is written
  112. in Rexx. Details are found in the Steward.txt file.

  129. Also included with Inet.Mail is a mailing list to web page program
  130. called List2Web. This will echo a mailing list to a web page providing
  131. fully automatic updates and messages rendered in html format with
  132. any attachments provided as links.

  138. What Works and What Doesn't:

  140. There are no known bugs in the program.
  141.  
  142. Available on a beta basis now are Rexx function dlls to control user
  143. mailboxes and user passwords. Please contact Hethmon Brothers for
  144. availability.

  146. We *highly* recommend installation on a HPFS partition. Inet.Mail
  147. works on a FAT partition but usernames are limited to 8 characters.
  148. The Steward mailing list software *requires* HPFS to work. It does
  149. not have to be installed on the same partition as Inet.Mail.
